KZ Tandingan will be staying as a regular competitor in the China's major singing competition, Singer 2018. The announcement was made by Cornerstone Entertainment, Inc., the talent management company that handles KZ's career. Early morning on February 17, Cornerstone posted on their Facebook account a video of KZ singing in Mandarin.

The post reads, "Congratulations, KZ! From entering the competition as a challenger, you have now qualified as one of the regular competitors in the show! It's going to be a long and exciting road ahead. Let's all continue to pray and support KZ as she continues to showcase the Filipino talent in China #Singer2018."

In the video, it is evident that KZ's soulful voice touched the audience, bringing some of them to tears.

On this week's episode, KZ ranked sixth among eight singers. However, the average score of all her performances gave her a slot in the top four, making her a regular competitor in the show.

In the elimination round, when the results were announced, KZ said, "Oh my gosh, I thought I was gonna go home! Thank you."

Last week, KZ's debut on the show went viral. She sang her version of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," which made her the winner for that episode.

Congratulations, KZ!
