One of the Korean celebrity couples who tied the knot this year is Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon (who are now parents, BTW). Their wedding was attended by a string of Korean stars, including FT Island's Lee Hong Ki who's Shin Hye's longtime BFF. In a recent variety show guesting, he ~revealed~ why the event made him sooooooo tense!
As a K-pop idol, Hong Ki is already used to performing in front of a big crowd. However, the couple's wedding had him trembling so much that he even had to warm up his voice before singing on stage! Hong Ki performed The Heirs OST "I'm Saying," and ICYDK, the song has some REALLY high notes.
"I recently sang a congratulatory song at Park Shin Hye's wedding. I actually went with my mother, because my mother is friends with Shin Hye's mother and Tae Joon's mother [from back when we were all child actors]," he said. Hong Ki then described the event: "There were so many stars there that I felt like I was at an awards ceremony or something."

It turns out, he is not *alone*! EXO's D.O.—who sang the Goblin OST "Beautiful" with Crush—was also so nervous. "Unfortunately, I was the first up to perform. But thankfully, the second congratulatory singer was D.O. and just as I was about to sing, I looked behind me, and he was also trembling with nerves. I found comfort in that, and I did my best to sing well."

Hong Ki and D.O. became friends after they starred in the musical Return: The Promise Of The Day while they were serving in the army. On the other hand, Hong Ki and Shin Hye's friendship started when they were cast in the K-drama You're Beautiful.
