Lee Min Ho Recently Made A Meaningful Donation To Organizations That Help Children In Need

Today in heartwarming news: It's been revealed that Lee Min Ho recently made a touching contribution to organizations that protect children, particularly those that are victims of abuse.

Before the start of the new year, the actor's agency, MYM Entertainment, announced that theThe King: Eternal Monarch star donated 50 million won (around P2,200,000) to three organizations that supports abused children, namely Good Neighbors International, Holt Children’s Services Inc., and Save the Children. He did this via the donation platform, PROMIZ.

The 33-year-old actor has helped those in need in the past. In March 2020, he shared 300 million won (around P13,300,000) to different orgs, which included "personal protection equipment to health care workers and children with vulnerable immune systems" according to Soompi.

Child welfare is a special cause for Min Ho and his recent donation is greatly because children are more prone to family abuse since they're mostly at home due to the pandemic. This reason was revealed in a statement by PROMIZ: "He decided to make the donation in order to protect children who are suffering from abuse by family members at a time when children are spending more time at home than before due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He hopes that this donation will raise awareness for the victims of child abuse who are suffering in the dark and also provide practical assistance to vulnerable children.”
