Squid Game continues to achieve MORE milestones! The Netflix Original K-drama took home multiple trophies at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmys, and Lee Yoo Mi just made *history.*

The 28-year-old was recognized as the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Squid Game's episode, Gganbu. This makes her the first Korean actress to be awarded in the said category. The other nominees include Succession's Hope Davis, Harriet Walter, and Sanaa LathanEuphoria's Martha Kelly, and The Morning Show's Marcia Gay Harden.

In the series, Yoo Mi plays Ji Yeong (aka Player 240), an ex-convict who joined the game. It's worth highlighting that the actress filmed Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead at the same time. Aside from the commute back and forth, Yoo Mi was also challenged to ~switch~ between her two different characters for the dramas.
