OMG, Olivia Rodrigo's New LEGO Collection Includes Hidden Filipino-Inspired Details

Published on Jul 6, 2026
Our Cosmopolitan Philippines May cover girl, Olivia Rodrigo, just had a strong comeback with her newest album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, and each track has had us in a chokehold.
She released the album on June 12, right on Philippine Independence Day, making it feel even more special for Filipino Livies. And with all the hype and craze still going strong, LEGO felt it was only fitting to join in on the celebration with a collaboration made just for our girl.
Starting August 1, the BUILT 4 U collection—featuring five (!) Filipino-inspired Olivia Rodrigo collectible sets—will be available worldwide, with the Philippines as the only Southeast Asian market carrying the collection. The drop also makes Olivia the first musician to receive multiple dedicated LEGO sets, complete with exclusive minifigures inspired by some of her most unforgettable performances.
The collection includes Olivia's Vinyl, Dual Guitar, Concert Moon, Secret Storage, and our personal favorite, the LEGO Botanicals x Olivia Rodrigo Flower Bouquet.
Instead of an ordinary floral arrangement, the Flower Bouquet reimagines Olivia's signature purple aesthetic with electric guitars as the flower petals. According to a statement released by LEGO, this 400-piece set also includes subtle design details that pay tribute to her Filipino heritage. "Fans are invited to piece together playful references concealed among the petals and stems."
While the collection is still set to officially launch in the coming months, fans eager to get their hands on it can already pre-order three of the sets (Dual Guitar, Concert Moon, and the Flower Bouquet) through the LEGO website.

Olivia Rodrigo Has Always Been A Proud Filipino Girlie Pop
Long before LEGO found a way to weave her Filipino roots into a collectible, Olivia has already been proudly sharing that part of herself with the world.
Back in her Disney Channel days, during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in 2017, she first shared that her Filipino identity comes from her father, Chris Rodrigo's side.
Olivia had her first-ever concert in the Philippines and made it extra special for her Filipino fans. There's much to say about her solid performance, but it was her decision to turn it into a charity concert that made it even more memorable. In October 2024, Olivia brought her GUTS World Tour to the Philippine Arena, with all tickets sold for just P1,500. Later on, proceeds were reportedly linked to her Fund 4 Good charity initiative, which she launched in 2023.
Just a few days before her show, Olivia also took time to explore Manila despite the venue being in Bulacan. Fans online shared their snaps with her around Intramuros—even spotting her trying out the famous bamboo bikes! 😄
With her joyful spirit and undeniable talent, Filipino fans have continued to show strong support and have affectionately dubbed her the "pambansang pinsan." In an interview with ABS-CBN, she expressed excitement over the nickname, saying: "I love it so much. I'll take it. That's amazing. Wow. I wear that with honor and pride."
She's also openly shared her love for the local dessert, halo-halo—which she tried in the Philippines during her 2024 concert—and her lumpia-making skills. In the same interview, she said, "I am so proud to be Filipino. Everyone in the Philippines is just so warm, and so encouraging, and so loving. I just take their love with me everywhere I go."
In other interviews, including with Dazed, she's been open about her Filipino heritage and being of mixed race—while also proudly speaking about how talented Filipino singers are.
We love you, Liv! 💜
