If you're looking for a Christmas movie that's basically Love Actually but exclusively with teenagers, you've come to the right place. Netflix just released the first trailer for Let It Snow, and it's just about everything you could have imagined it to be.
The movie stars a bunch of young actors you're probably pumped about: Kiernan Shipka (The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina), Isabela Merced (Dora), Shameik Moore (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse), Odeya Rush (Lady Bird, Dumplin’), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet), Mitchell Hope (Descendants), and Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: Homecoming).
The movie is based on the book of the same name by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle. Basically, it follows a bunch of high school students as a snowstorm hits their Midwestern town on Christmas Eve.
Their "love lives collide thanks to a stranded pop star, a stolen keg, a squad of competitive dancers, a mysterious woman covered in tinfoil, and an epic party at the local Waffle Town," according to Netflix. Wow!!
Here's the thing. This movie looks great, but like I said, it's giving major Love Actually vibes but if all your favorite young pop-culture people crossed over. Like, we've got Sabrina Spellman, and her guy friend is very much a Harvey Kinkle. We've got a Spider-Man multiverse with Ned and Miles. We've got Dora. And their storylines are all gonna come together in a very Love Actually way, it looks like. How do all these different love stories fit together? IDK, but it's gonna work somehow!
Let It Snow hits Netflix November 8. Mark your calendars!
