Being a K-pop idol is already hard as it is, but to be one while filming a K-drama takes a whole lot of effort and dedication. I mean, we can only imagine how hectic their schedules are! But some Korean celebrities are already pros at balancing everything. Just like these male K-pop idols who've starred in K-dramas this 2020! Here, let's take a look:
1. Cha Eun Woo
Who doesn't know this ethereal beauty? ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is more than a pretty face—he's a great actor, too! Mark your calendars as his upcoming webtoon-turned-drama True Beauty is slated for release this December!
Did you know that GOT7's Jinyoung, who portrayed Han Jae Hyun in the tvN series When My Love Blooms, accepted the role because of the drama's title and script? In an interview, he said that the group's album preparation overlapped with the shooting, but since he really liked the script, he found ways to make it as a cast member!
3. Kim Myungsoo
This Infinite member has already starred in one K-drama this year, and he also has another acting project in the works! From March to April, Kim Myungsoo transformed into a ~human cat~ in Meow, The Secret Boy. This December, he will join his fellow K-pop idol, Kwon Nara, in the historical drama Secret Royal Inspector as a...secret royal inspector!

4. Yook Sung Jae
Prior to his military enlistment, BTOB's Yook Sung Jae gave Melody a gift in the form of the JTBC K-drama, Mystic Pop-Up Bar. In here, he's a part-timer in a pojangmacha (a street stall in South Korea) named Han Kang Bae, and his character has a catch: Whenever he touches someone, that person's secrets are revealed. Whoa! P.S. Did you know that Yook Sung Jae used to live in the Philippines?!
5. Kang Seung Yoon
WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon shows off his acting chops in the fantasy thriller Kairos, that's currently airing on Viu! As Im Geon Wook, Seung Yoon's role in the drama is a *super* loyal BFF to Han Ae Ri (Lee Se Young), with an interesting backstory.
6. Hwang Minhyun
Who else is hyped for actor Hwang Minhyun aside from me? The NU'EST member and former Wanna One lead vocalist is paired with Extracurricular's Jung Da Bin in Live On, a K-drama that conveys the story of a high school romance that started in a broadcasting club. Cute!
7. Ok Taecyeon
From the second-generation K-pop group 2PM, Ok Taecyeon has been acting since 2010 and debuted as an actor in the KBS drama, Cinderella's Sister. This year, he joined the cast of The Game: Towards Zero as Kim Tae Pyung, a man who can see the death of other people one he looks at them in the eye. He uses his special skill to dig deeper into a murder case that happened two decades ago.
