Marjorie Barretto just corrected an Instagram user who claimed that she was lying about Julia Barretto having the number three on her high school jersey. The user had posted old photos of Julia wearing jerseys bearing the numbers eight and 10.

Marjorie said of the pics, “The pink jersey was for her role as a varsity player in And I Love You So. In other words, taping ‘yan. Also, please google ‘Julia Barretto volleyball’ to see that since 2013, she’s been using that number for Star Magic games. Post mo rin ‘yon, ha?

It seems that Marjorie also sent the IG user the right photos for reference.

It can be recalled that at the recent Star Magic All-Star game, netizens noticed that Julia and Gerald Anderson had the same jersey number.

Marjorie clarified that the match was a coincidence, asserting that three was Julia’s number in her volleyball varsity days in high school. “Let me correct this before the story gets big and out of hand again. Number [three] has always been Julia’s jersey number since her high school volleyball varsity days. No special meaning.”
