This Pinay Marvel Fan Got To Meet 'The Avengers' Cast IRL
Alyana, 21, has fangirling experiences some of us could only dare dream of. She's met, HUGGED, taken a picture with, and received autographs of her fave actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland, and Anthony Mackie, just to name a few. Alyana grew up watching Marvel movies and was a low-key stan since then. But it was in 2016 when Captain America: Civil War came out that ~changed~ Alyana's fangirl life forever.
So, just how did Alyana get those ~close encounters~ with her faves? Well, she's actually been to three Comic Cons—two in the States and one in Japan. She has a bunch of memorable moments in these cons, but at the top spot is meeting Chris Evans for the very first time. "It's just like my favorite moment of all time because I finally met the love of my life, my favorite actor," Alyana tells Cosmopolitan. "When I was in line, I was secretly recording everything that was happening, and I was like, 'Oh my god, bro.' Because I was just so amazed that Chris Evans is really there, and I could see him laughing so much from what I said. And then it was finally my turn to meet him. He immediately had his hands open for me to hug him. So that's what I did."
Alyana's favorite Marvel characters are Captain America/Steve Rogers (for his loyalty) and Loki (because he's misunderstood). But beyond their superhero personas, she really looks up to the actors behind them: Chris Evans and Tom Hiddleston. Alyana gushes about her two faves and says, "They have the purest hearts with the purest intentions. They're just like really good people, they're nice to everyone, especially to their fans. Like, most of the time, they think of others first before they think of themselves."
