Anyone else using Miley Cyrus' daily Instagram Lives as way to tell when another 24 hours of your life has passed? No? Just me going crazy while self-isolating? Well, even if Bright Minded: Live With Miley isn't the #1 highlight of your day, it's still a nice heartwarming distraction. And yesterday's episode was no different!
After talking to Reese Witherspoon and before being joined by Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa, Miley confessed how much Hilary Duff has meant to her and her career. When the Lizzie McGuire star signed on, Miley was totally candid and just laid her obsession out there after pulling up an old video of the time Hilary surprised Miley on TV.
Miley gushed, "The only reason I wanted it [Hannah Montana] was so I could do whatever you did. And so really, I don’t think I gave a shit about being an actress or a singer." And channeling every Lizzie fan, Miley added, "I just wanted to copy you no matter what. So I just wanted to say thank you again for just inspiring me."
Thanking Miley for her sweet words, Hilary chimed in and told her, "Just to hear you say that, I feel like you have been such a bright light and you have made so many choices that have been so bold and you’re an inspiration to me and to all of us—and you continue to be." All facts.
After warming hearts all across the internet, Hilary revealed whats she's been up to during the pandemic when she's not schooling everyone in why it's important to stay home right now. Hilary said she's continuing to work on her diaper and feminine hygiene product lines, parenting her kids, and she said she's supposed to be filming Younger right now but can't because of coronavirus. The new episodes will come soon enough though!
