Maintaining a relationship in the public eye must be challenging because part of your job as an actor or actress can sometimes involve making out with someone that isn't your partner.
And while that might not feel like the worst thing in the world if you're starring opposite Ryan Gosling (sorry), Miley Cyrus opened up about what it's like watching fiancé Liam Hemsworth getting it on with attractive co-stars.
Acknowledging that it was an inevitable part of his job on Howard Stern's radio show (via Billboard), Miley said of Liam's leading ladies, "I get that little butterfly in my stomach. I know me and I know what our relationship is, so anyone's gonna feel like it's fucking abnormal, I think, but my life is abnormal."
She went on to joke that she has her way of keeping tabs on him and his on-screen love interests. "I keep my little spies. So I don't always have to be there."
We feel that, Miley.
On the topic of their breakup in 2013, when Liam and Miley called off their first engagement, the singer explained how fate had a "funny, f*cking crazy" way of keeping her in her ex's life.
"When we broke up, he wanted to get away from me," Miley said, going on to explain that Liam moved out of her house in Studio City to his own house in Malibu, only to discover he'd purchased the exact house where Miley had recorded her first album, Meet Miley Cyrus.
"The person hid all the plaques in the garage so he would still buy the house," she said. "So then he went to move in and he was like, 'Fuck! I cannot get away. This bitch is all over my f*cking house!'"
Oh, to be a fly on the wall when that happened.
