James Reid and MOMOLAND's Nancy McDonie are yet to start shooting for their Philippine series entitled Soulmate, but it seems like the two already have good working chemistry. In an interview with ABS-CBN, the girl group member described her new leading man, saying: "He's super nice, super sweet, [and] awesome."

Despite being an idol, Nancy admitted that she is very nervous because this is her first time doing a big project in a different country with a different culture. "I['ve] never [actually been] in a big drama before so I guess I could say it's the first time."

James, on the other hand, also expressed his admiration for his new co-star. "[I'm] a little bit starstruck of course but I am super excited to work with her."

MYX reports that MOMOLAND's agency, MLD Management, signed a partnership and co-management with ABS-CBN for the Korean girl group, who will be doing a series of shows for the network. In addition to Nancy's project with James, the rest of the girls will also be having a travel TV series featuring some of the best places in the country.
