We love how movies these days are featuring girls of different ethnicities, body shapes, and personalities! We're all about body-positivity, and it's amazing to see representation onscreen. Here are five relatable films that feature plus-size actresses as leads

1. Isn't It Romantic (2019)

The lead actress: Rebel Wilson

The sitch: Natalie (Rebel) is a cynic when it comes to love, romance, and *fairy tales.* Even her work best friend Josh (Adam Devine) tells her so. She hates romantic comedy films with a passion and she thinks successful and handsome guys will never notice her. But after she gets into an accident, Natalie discovers that she's in an alternate world where people think she's "beguiling," background music magically plays at specific moments, and she can't seem to utter a single swear word. In short, she's trapped inside her very own romantic comedy.

Memorable quote: "You can search the entire universe and never find a being more worthy of love than yourself."

2. Dumplin' (2018)

The lead actress: Danielle Macdonald

Her previous projects: Patti Cake$ (2017) and Bird Box (2018)

Memorable quote: "I think you're beautiful. To hell with anyone who's ever made you feel less than that."

3. Sierra Burgess Is A Loser (2018)

The lead actress: Shannon Purser

Her previous projects: Stranger Things (2016) and Riverdale (2017)

He believes that Sierra is actually cheerleader Veronica (Kristine Forseth) and she doesn't correct him and continues the charade. By some weird turn of events, Veronica and Sierra strike up a deal: Sierra will tutor her and in exchange, Veronica helps her keep up the lie, even agreeing to meet up with Jamey.

Memorable quote: "Do you have any idea what it's like to be a teenage girl, and to look like this?"
