Jung Ga Ram is currently enlisted in the military, but his acting projects are continuously being released to the public! In fact, the 28-year-old actor is starring in one of the most popular Netflix titles now, Love Alarm Season 2. Ga Ram started out in the Hallyu scene as a teen actor in the 2011 comedy-drama series High Kick: Revenge Of The Short Legged, and has since focused more on making films than dramas. He might not be a household name just yet, but we sure can't wait to see his future acting projects once he gets discharged from the military in 2022.

The plot: The to-be-released film stars Bae Sung Woo and Jung Ga Ram and is about "a troublemaking veteran detective and a rich rookie detective who go on a work trip to Seoul to reinvestigate a mysterious murder."
2. Love Alarm (2021)
Where to watch it: Netflix
The plot: Love Alarm is arguably Jung Ga Ram's most popular role to date! Season 1 dropped back in 2019 and it tells the story of Jo-jo (Kim So Hyun), a high school girl who uses the Love Alarm dating app to tell her who within her ~radius~ has feelings for her. She has two contenders vying for her heart: Bad boy rich kid Sun-oh (Song Kang) and soft-spoken good boy Hye-Young (Jung Ga Ram). Season 2 just premiered on Netflix and you'll find out just who Jo-jo chooses in the end!
3. Beasts Clawing At Straws (2020)
The plot: Based on the 2011 Japanese novel of the same name, Beasts Clawing At Straws is a black comedy crime thriller film and revolves around "the destinies of hard-luck lowlifes slowly converge and come crashing down." The film is also broken down into six chapters, namely: Debt, Sucker, Food Chain, Shark, Lucky Strike, and Money Bag.
4. When The Camellia Blooms (2019)
Where to watch it: Netflix
The plot: When The Camellia Blooms is an award-winning drama that stars Gong Hyo Jin as the strong and independent single mom Dong Baek who runs a bar called Camellia. Hwang Yong Sik, played by Kang Ha Neul, is an offbeat and socially awkward policeman who falls in love with Dong Baek at first sight. Spoiler alert: Jung Ga Ram plays the ~adult~ version of Dong Baek's son, Pil Gu!
5. The Odd Family: Zombies On Sale (2019)
The plot: If you're a fan of zombies, this film is right up your alley. In The Odd Family: Zombies On Sale, Jung Ga Ram plays, yes, a zombie! The comedy film is set in a quiet and peaceful country village and its residents. Things drastically ~change~ for all of them when a zombie suddenly appears in their village.
6. Mistress (2018)
The plot: Mistress is based on a British drama series (called Mistresses) which ran from 2008 to 2010. In the Korean version, the story is focused on four women in their 30s who get tangled in illicit affairs and complicated relationships with various men. Jung Ga Ram plays Su-ho, a troubled young man who confides in his psychiatrist about his father's death and his mistress. Thing is, his psychiatrist is his late father's mistress.
7. The Poet And The Boy (2017)
The plot: The comedy-drama film stars Yang Ik June as Hyon Taek-gi, a 40-year-old poet who isn't really good at what he does. He also happens to be married to a woman who is determined to get pregnant. His bleak and uneventful life turns around when he meets a beautiful young man named Seyun (Jung Ga Ram).
8. The Heirs (2013)
Where to watch it: Netflix, Viu
The plot: In the teen romance drama, Park Shin Hye is the driven working student Cha Eun Sang who bumps into bad boy chaebol heir Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) in the US. After a series of misadventures, they fall in love but have to part ways because of their different lives. But as fate has it, they end up back in South Korea as classmates in the famed Jeguk High School. Jung Ga Ram plays one of the students in the elite school.
