It’s been six years since actress-singer Nadine Lustre collaborated with James Reid’s record label, Careless Music, where she released her singles ”St4y Up,” “Wait for Me,” and her visual album “Wildest Dreams.” In a recent interview, however, Nadine revealed that she has *officially* left the label.
“I kind of want to do my own thing. They’re doing their own thing [and] iba na rin yung gusto kong gawin,” she shares in an interview with Monster RX 93.1, revealing that the label’s vision “isn’t aligned” with hers anymore. “The things I want to do and the things they want to do are very different things already. Every time I would listen to my previous album it makes me feel like ‘parang sayang.’ I was nanghihinayang.”

According to Nadine, she will be focusing on her acting career for now. “I want to focus on business and acting for now but I’m not closing my doors on music. I don’t have anything planned as yet but hopefully next year. Ang hirap ng sabay sabay.”
