Nadine Lustre is making waves internationally.
That's because she was featured on a digital billboard in New York City, and in Times Square, at that. The singer-actress shared the news on IG on April 30, Friday.
"We made it to NYC, fam @carelessph!" she wrote.
Nadine is part of Spotify's EQUAL program, which aims to support female artists from all over the world to "foster equity for women in audio." The project, which was launched on April 29, jumps off from the streaming platform's EQUAL International Women's Day campaign in April which featured a "playlist hub for female artists and podcasters."
Nadine is set to hold a digital Wildest Dreams concert in May via the live streaming app Kumu. She's been an artist under James Reid's record label Careless since it was started in 2017.
Other artists joining Nadine in the EQUAL Philippines playlist are Moira Dela Torre, Morissette Amon, Karencitta, Sarah Geronimo, Yeng Constantino, Syd Hartha, Leila Alcasid, and KZ Tandingan, among others.
