If we’re going to list down the busiest Korean actors this year, Nam Joo Hyuk would definitely be part of the top five. So far, he has starred in two Netflix dramas: The School Nurse Files and Start-Up, and now he’s set to appear on the big screen!

Josée is a remake of the 2004 Japanese film Josée, The Tiger, And The Fish, based on the short novel of the same name written by Seiko Tanabe. According to website descriptions, Josée, The Tiger, And The Fish tells the narrative of Josée, a young woman who named herself after a fictional character. She is unable to walk, so she’s pushed in a stroller by her grandmother whenever she goes out of the house. One day, she meets a college student named Tsuneo during an accident, and her life is changed forever.

Nam Joo Hyuk will play the role of Young Suk (the Korean counterpart of Tsuneo) and Rooftop Prince actress Han Ji Min will portray Josée. Warner Brothers Korea has released posters for the upcoming film and it looks like we’re in for a love story! Joo Hyuk’s poster reads as “I’m going to keep staying by your side from now on,” while Ji Min’s says “I remember the sound of you walking towards me.”

The movie is Joo Hyuk and Ji Min’s second project together, following the K-drama Radiant. The two will also work together again and join the star-studded lineup of the Noh Hee Kyung drama HERE, starring Shin Min Ah and Lee Byung Hun.

Josée will premier in theaters in South Korea on December 10. While we’re keeping tabs on a *possible* international release, you can catch Nam Joo Hyuk as Nam Do San in Start-Up, which airs on Netflix every weekend at 9:30 p.m.

In an interview with Esquire, the 26-year-old actor mentioned how packed his schedule is this year. “I’m really busy. People around me think that because I’m not on television, I’m not working, but right now, I’m the busiest I’ve been in the past couple of years. I’ve been filming a lot.” We’re glad to see a lot of Nam Joo Hyuk content but we’re also hoping he gets enough rest!
