It's a new year AND a new decade! We're sure 2020 will bring A LOT of changes, but one thing will stay the same: our love for binge-watching sessions! Here are seven new films and shows to binge on Netflix in January:
1. Spinning Out (January 1)
An elite figure skater named Kat (Kaya Scodelario) is ready to *retire* "after a disastrous fall took her off the competition track." But she gets a second chance as a pair skater when she teams up with Justin (Evan Roderick).
2. Messiah (January 1)
A CIA officer (Michelle Monaghan) tries to uncover information about a man (Mehdi Dehbi) who's gaining international attention and who claims that he can perform miracles. As she embarks on her investigation, she encounters an Israeli intelligence officer, a Texas preacher, a Palestinian refugee, and a journalist who is also on the man's track.
3. AJ And The Queen (January 10)
A drag queen named Ruby Red (RuPaul) meets an 11-year-old orphan named AJ (Izzy Gaspersz) as she "travels across America from club to club to reclaim the savings that someone stole from her."
4. Sex Education: Season 2 (January 17)
Moordale Secondary is in the middle of a Chlamydia outbreak (gasp!) and our faves Otis, Meave, and Eric meet new kids in town who will challenge the status quo.
5. Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina: Part 3 (January 24)
In this third installment, Sabrina the teenage witch (Kiernan Shipka) has defeated her father Lucifer, but the Dark Lord is trapped in the body of her boyfriend! Netflix writes: "With the help of her mortal friends, Sabrina makes it her mission to free him from eternal damnation and bring him back into her arms."
6. The Stranger (January 30)
Adam Price's life is turned upside-down after a stranger tells him a secret about his wife: Two years ago, when his wife told him that she was pregnant (the only reason why Adam stayed with her) and that she lost the baby, SHE LIED. The revelation catapults him into a world of danger! OMG, interestiiingggg.
7. Dracula (Coming Soon)
This brand new take on the famous vampire will only have three episodes! It will show us more of his gory crimes but will also shine a light on his vulnerabilities.
