In his post on April 7, Nico made a point that “[Solenn] wears my t-shirts to bed, she wears my jacket when she is cold and she even wears my boxers sometimes… But I wear her panties one time, and suddenly, I have 'overstepped' my boundaries!”
While Nico was only joking, he made a point that “whatever is theirs is theirs, and whatever is ours is also theirs!” He said that it might be a cliche, but it should be this way.
According to Nico, “Everything we have and everything we do should be theirs and for them, why? There are many reasons; from a natural point of view, our ladies are the ones that carry our babies for nine months and give birth; us men we can barely carry the grocery bags, and we need to make many trips. Also, I don’t think we would be strong enough to give birth!”
Nico pointed out that sadly, in today’s society, women are not treated equally and get lower salaries for the same type of position as men. He added that women also “suffer multiple cases of abuse and a lot of times, they are treated as if they were a thing or a prize.”
He clarified that not everyone is like this, but said that “a great part of society is!” He continued by saying that “sometimes, we are so inserted in it, that we are also part of the problem.” He admits that he has made mistakes in the past, but he tries to be aware and realize that he is being unfair.
Nico also urged that change should begin at home. “Always remember how important they are to us; remember your mum, your sister, and your partner, and be ready to give them all you have, not because they need it, but because they deserve it.”
