And the word of the year for 2013 is…SELFIE! According to Britain’s Oxford University Press, the use of the word “selfie”—self-taken photographs—on social media like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook became widespread in 2012. "Selfie" was added to the online version of the Oxford dictionary in August and is being considered for future inclusion in the more traditional Oxford English Dictionary. (Philstar)

Who said you can’t be friends with your ex? Cristine Reyes says she is in good terms and remains friends with her ex-boyfriends Derek Ramsey, Rayver Cruz, and Dennis Trillo. She said, “To clarify, para maniwala kayo, oo, nakakausap ko [si Derek] almost every day. Si Rayver [Cruz] din naman, ganun din. Even si Rayver, minsan binibisita ko pa sa bahay nila. The Supreme Court unanimously (14-0-1) declared the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) unconstitutional on Tuesday (November 19, 2013). The remaining PDAF allocations for the rest of the year, along with the Pagcor resources, should be returned to the Treasury. (Inquirer.net)
