During her guesting for Tonight With Boy Abunda, lawyer and Binibining Pilipinas International 2019 Patch Magtanong shared that she isn't sure how many admirers or manliligaws she's ~turned down~!
Patch said that when someone would ask her out in law school, she used to say, "Nag-aaral ako e." And after school, she would say, "May training ako e" because she was prepping for the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 competition.
"Someday, I'll run out of excuses, but I'll deal with that after... I have been in a few relationships for a few years and I felt that it was time for me to learn on my own. I wanted to be independent, and I wanted to focus on myself, so that's what I did," the beauty queen added.
During her interview, she also talked about her hesitation to join Binibining Pilipinas, even though she'd always wanted the crown. It actually took her eight years to finally muster up the courage to join it! She shared that she had problems with her self confidence since she's not really a pageant girl, with Binibining Pilipinas being her first-ever competition.
It was even more difficult because she was taking the bar exams while training for the pageant. Patch said, "There was doubt. I'm sure you can imagine how difficult it is to not pass the bar exam. And imagine how much more difficult it would be when you're a public figure."
