5 Pinay Celebs Who Celebrated Their Debuts In 2021

We're through with the first half of 2021 (Can you believe it?). So far, several debutantes—even those who had their 18th birthday last year but couldn't celebrate the way they wanted to because of lockdown restrictions—already had their respective coming-of-age festivities early on this year.

Here are some stars who had their debut celebrations in 2021:

1. Andrea Brillantes

Aside from having two pre-debut photoshoots, Andrea Brillantes also celebrated her 18th birthday with her closest friends at Rancho Bernardo Luxury Villas in July. They played billiards and ping pong, spent some time together outdoors, and had a sleepover. She was also surprised by her friends with a grand and romantic dinner celebration

2. Jayda Avanzado

Singer and OPM legacy Jayda Avanzado had her post-birthday celebration at Okada Manila with her family and close celebrity friends. Jayda, who turned 18 in June, decided to have a staycation at the hotel where she also had a birthday photoshoot.

3. AC Bonifacio

AC Bonifacio had already turned 18 in 2020, but her Star Magic family decided to throw a surprise debut celebration for her upon return to the country. ICYDK, AC was previously in her hometown in Canada, where she also shot her Riverdale appearances before heading back to the Philippines. In honor of her Hollywood acting debut, Star Magic surprised her with a Riverdale-themed party.

4. Karina Bautista

Former PBB housemate Karina Bautista also turned 18 last year but was not able to have her dream debut because of the pandemic. This year, Karina decided to celebrate her coming of age with a vintage-themed post-debut photoshoot.

5. Rita Gaviola

Rita Gaviola first became known as "Badjao Girl" on social media. She, later on, entered PBB's Season 7. In May, Rita celebrated her 18th birthday and shared her grand celebration on her YouTube channel.
