Alex Gonzaga

On October 17, Alex Gonzaga confirmed in an Instagram post that she miscarried. Her caption wrote, "[Two] months ago we found out that I was pregnant and [three] weeks ago, we got a heartbreaking news that we might be having an anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum)." She revealed that on October 12, she and husband Mikee Morada "finally closed the book" of their first pregnancy. Alex added, "To our baby whom we almost had, thank you for giving mommy and daddy joy even for a short span."

Heart Evangelista

In June 2018, Heart Evangelista announced that she suffered from a miscarriage on her third month of pregnancy. She shared, "Just as we hit the three-month mark, we found out that her heart stopped beating." On her Instagram post, the actress mentioned that she had already given a name for her daughter, whom she lovingly calls Mira. "My Mira, funnily enough, I already loved your smile. I know you’ll find your way back to me," Heart said.

Rica Peralejo

Just a few days after she announced that she was expecting her second child with husband Joseph Bonifacio, Rica Peralejo took to social media to share the heartbreaking news that she had lost the baby. On one of her blogs, Rica wrote, "I am in great emotional pain and many people say it will worsen in the days to come. I keep thinking one day I will know how my baby looks like when I meet him or her in heaven, but it hurts me to think that it won't be anytime soon."

Mariel Rodriguez

2015 was a trying time for Mariel Rodriguez as it was reported that she had suffered from two miscarriages in the same year. The first happened in March, while the second occurred in August. Below, husband Robin Padilla documented the heartbreaking moment when Mariel's doctor told them that they had lost their triplets.

In one of her former blog entries, Saab Magalona expressed how heartbroken she was over the death of her baby girl, Luna. The actress wrote, "This whole time, we've been nervous about bringing children into this scary world and in an instant, our world was turned upside down. Despite this tragedy, we have encountered so many heroes and kind people." She continued, "If you look hard enough, this doesn't have to be such a scary world after all. I know we’ll make it through."

Regine Velasquez

In March 2016, Regine Velasquez opened up about her miscarriage that happened a few months before her wedding with singer Ogie Alcasid. According to a report by PEP.ph, Regine admitted, "During [noong] time na 'yon, galit na galit ako kay God, kasi nga I lost a baby." Eventually, she was able to slowly build her relationship with Christ and became a Born Again-Christian.

Neri Naig

On May 27, 2019, Neri Naig took to Instagram to tell her story about the heartbreaking loss of her first baby with Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda. The actress wrote, "May 27, 2015. Nakapag ultra sound na kami ni Chito [noon] para sa una naming baby. June 3, 2015, wala nang heartbeat ang baby namin." She continued by sharing an open letter addressed to all those who could relate to her situation. Neri said, "Alam ko ang pakiramdam ng nawalan. Sobrang sakit. Pero malalagpasan mo rin 'yan. Darating ang tamang panahon na talagang ipagkakaloob ni God sayo."
