We absolutely looove seeing one-of-a-kind prenup shoots, and today, we spotted one that was inspired by local and international romance movie posters! In a Facebook post by photographer Tophee Marquez of The Tophee Project, we see engaged couple Kathleen Javier and Nikko Panollera recreating posters from their favorite movies.
"I was the one who suggested to copy movie posters as their prenup photos and they agreed and love the idea. I really love movie posters in general. In fact, I have been creating cover/posters for most of my works. And yes, those are the couple's favorite movies," Tophee shared in a short Messenger convo with Cosmo.ph.
He also told us that most of the preparations for the shoot were done by the couple and that it went super smoothly. "They were the ones who looked for clothes to wear that looked the same as what the characters in the movie posters [were] wearing. As for the locations, the shoot was done in their newly rented apartment and a 'field-ish' location near us...There weren't any challenges aside from following safety protocols (I was wearing a mask the whole time) and it was a very windy day during the shoot."
Scroll down to see their recreated movie posters (the titles are super witty!):
