The internet is a gold mine of artwork, and we stumbled across a self-taught digital artist named Paul Timothy Sabado, aka Sab, a 17-year-old student who makes the cutest pixel art about real-life situations in the city! He's even got a series that's solely dedicated to rainy-day situations, which, of course, involves the ~hassle~ commute in Manila.
Here's a series of artwork that revolves around the MRT:
That looooong line just to get inside the train station? RELATE MUCH.
Here are some featuring other forms of transpo:
We can't help but gush over the little details: Sab drew people on their phones waiting for the time to pass, passengers of different ages in one jeepney, and even a man sleeping on the bus on the way home. WOW.
Of course, commuting isn't complete without a little ~walking exercise~.
A lot of us are used to avoiding puddles and getting our shoes and socks soaked.
Sab also creates art about daily Pinoy situations in Manila.
Behold, scenes that we see on the streets every day: Kids taking a shower in the rain, karinderias and street food stands, computer shops, and convenience stores. Thanks for these, Sab!
