When concert promoter Neuwave Events & Productions announced POPSTIVAL 2022 in August, *everyone* was excited. It created a buzz among Hallyu fans, especially after knowing that there are six K-pop and six P-pop stars gracing the stage. Weeks after and the final lineup was introduced—and there are a total of 16 performers as of writing. WOW!
Happening on October 21, 2022 at the SMDC Festival Grounds, POPSTIVAL 2022 is an entire day filled with activities and production numbers as it celebrates all things pop in the Philippines.
To get you even more hyped, we listed down all the things we're looking forward to at POPSTIVAL 2022:
1. The world-class P-pop performances.
Whether you're a longtime Pinoy pop fan or you just recently discovered the genre, POPSTIVAL 2022 is a great avenue to show your love to our outstanding Filipino artists. Headlining the show are SB19, BINI, Felip, KAIA, Press Hit Play, Lady Pipay, Calista, Alamat, VXON, and G22.
2. The K-pop idols we love.
This includes Park Bom, Hyolyn, LOONA, VIVIZ, Brave Girls, and Be'O! Some of these K-pop artists are coming to Manila for the first time, and we can't wait to welcome them and sing along to their hit songs.
3. The lookalike contest.
Think you and your friend are ~doppelgängers~ of a certain P-pop or K-pop star? Then dress up like them and you might just win prizes at POPSTIVAL 2022! This is one of the show's highlights that we're sooooo excited about.
4. The random dance challenge.
Whatever song is played, Filo fans will surely dance to it. At POPSTIVAL 2022, you can join in the fun and move to the beat! Don't be shy—your fellow fans will surely support you. ;)
5. The festival feels that's like no other.
It's not every day that we get to experience a K-pop-slash-P-pop festival in the Philippines, and Neuwave Events & Productions made sure that it's going to be fun, fun, and fun all day long.
