Rabiya Mateo, who is currently making waves as an actress, couldn't help but respond to a netizen who called her "ambisyosa."
On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 titleholder posted a photo of her wearing a chef's uniform during a baking class in Baguio.
"Minsan action star, minsan panadero," she captioned the post. "Was privileged enough to see how to make the ever famous Raisin Bread ng Baguio Country Club."
In a now-deleted comment, one netizen wrote, "Minsan Beauty queen, Minsan drama queen. Pero kadalasan ambisyosa di naman marunong umarte, talunan pa sa MU."
"'Di naman siguro masama mangarap, 'yung masama mangbaba ng kapwa," Rabiya replied. "Medical professional ka di 'ba? Sana maging doctor ka gaya ng pangarap mo. Keep winning in life!"
After her Miss Universe stint, Rabiya—who is a licensed physical therapist—considered working in the U.S. However, she decided to follow her heart and pursue a showbiz career in the Philippines.
Just recently, Rabiya joined GMA as one of its newest talents! "It's the joy talaga of fulfilling another dream, of the trust na ibinigay sa 'yo ng network to give you projects," she told GMA. "I am not that well-experienced, pero they believed in the potential that they saw in me. I am just grateful."
The beauty queen is set to star in the second season of GMA's action-drama series Agimat Ng Agila.
