In the seventh episode of the 12-part "Supra Chat with Valeria" videos, she discussed the group topic "balance between beauty and brains" with candidates from Argentina, Bolivia, Honduras, Mauritius, and Spain.
For the national costume and talent night, Resham chose to wear "precious fabrics of the Blaan Tribe in Koronadal." Woven by Fu Yabing, she revealed that a part of her headpiece is already over a century old!
The 25-year-old Filipino-Pakistani beauty from Maguindanao was a Psychology major at York University, Canada, prior to joining this year's Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
The Binibining Pilipinas website describes Resham as a "firm believer that we should all celebrate our differences. This is why she has partnered with an organization that empowers women and promotes gender equality."
Here are the winners from this year's pageant: Miss Supranational 2019 is Anntonia Porsild from Thailand, the first runner-up is Yana Haenisch from Namibia, the second runner-up is Jesica Fitriana M. from Indonesia, the third runner-up is Janick Maceta Del Castillo from Peru, and the fourth runner-up is Gabriela De La Cruz from Venezuela.
The last Miss Supranational crown for the Philippines was from Mutya Datul's triumph in 2013.
