The long wait is finally over: the cast of Running Man Philippines is here!
GMA Network has introduced the celebs who will be hosting the local adaptation of the long-running hit South Korean reality game show.
"Mga Kapuso, ito na ang pinakahihintay ninyong #RMPhCastReveal!" read the IG post of GMA Running Man Ph.
"Meet Glaiza De Castro, Ruru Madrid, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy De Santos, Angel Guardian, Buboy Villar, and Mikael Daez, #RunningManPH's official cast! Ano, tama ba ang mga hula niyo? We can't wait to run with you! See you soon, Runners!"
GMA first revealed in February 2020 that South Korean TV network SBS had signed a contract with GMA Network for the co-production of the show. Running Man also has spinoffs in China and Vietnam.
South Korea's Running Man has been airing since July 2010. Wow. In each episode, MCs Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Jeon So Min, and Yang Se Chan have to fulfill missions with guest celebs. Running Man was also wildly popular and hilarious because of actor-comedian Lee Kwang Soo, who officially left the program in 2021 after 11 years.
