How do you know if the person you are dating is the one?
On May 31, Ryan posted on Instagram a black-and-white photo of Judy Ann. In the photo’s caption, Ryan addressed his only son, Lucho as he wrote, “I was maybe 26, Mom and I were only really starting to get to know each other.”
Ryan shared how he’d pick up Judy Ann from one of her movie sets, and how they’d ride a motorcycle through the fog and a thunderstorm just to hang out. Ryan wrote, “Not every girl would’ve liked it, Mom just giggled through shivers, while we were sipping gas station coffees, soaked to the socks in the middle of nowhere.”
Ryan also recalled the time that Judy Ann would drop by a rock and roll club that he used to own and how she would help out at the bar. He then proceeded to write about a memory he had of Judy Ann as she helped him out by fixing the studio lights in one of his photo shoots.
“By this time though, I’ve had my heart broken enough times to know that exciting times fade, I knew it was a must to also be comfortable in silences,” Ryan continued.
But there was one particular break that Judy Ann needed that somehow sealed the deal for Ryan. Taking her to his parent’s place, Ryan shared that Judy Ann and her cousin stayed in his childhood bedroom while he slept in his parent’s room.
“Probably the second afternoon though, I was on the parquet floor, reading a paperback, your aunt had just quietly come in with three Frappuccinos, and Mom gets up from under the blankets and pillows. There wasn’t much talk, but I do remember asking her with a sideways glance, “You cool with this?” She said, “With what?” “This. This is how quiet and boring it gets with me too.” She just sipped the frap, smiled, and went back to her nap. That’s when I knew Bud,” Ryan wrote.
Ryan and Judy Ann have been married for 10 years. In his anniversary message, Ryan called Judy Ann his “heart, soul, life, and love.” The couple has three kids, Yohan, Lucho, and Luna.
