I know—Korean stars send each other coffee and food trucks all the time, but this is a *special* moment because Hyeri just thanked Ryu Hye Young for sending her one on the set of My Roommate Is A Gumiho! The actress took to Instagram to post photos with the truck while also tagging her unnie, saying that her "sister" sent her coffee and sandwiches and that Hye Young is the best.
The two starred in the 2015 series Reply 1988, a heartwarming show about childhood friends (and their families) who grew up in the same neighborhood. Hye Young and Hyeri played teenage sisters Sung Bo Ra and Sung Deok Sun, who bickered a lot but deeply cared about each other. Of course, this isn't the first adorbs reaction we witnessed between the two: they also had a mini-reunion with the Reply 1988 cast in 2020!
Hyeri's new drama My Roommate Is A Gumiho will tell the story of a Lee Dam, a "straightforward AF college student who has never experienced being in a relationship. One day, she accidentally swallows a male gumiho (nine-tailed fox)'s pearl, and her life changes completely!" Hyeri stars opposite Jang Ki Yong, who plays Shin Woo Yeo, "a 999-year-old mythical creature who dreams of becoming fully-human."
Meanwhile, Ryu Hye Young's next project is called Law School, and she is paired with none other than Kim Bum! The series is a legal thriller that "revolves around South Korea's top law school, and how a bunch of students and professors get tangled up in a strange case." The drama is set to be released in 2021.
