Blogger Saab Magalona and musician husband Jim Bacarro definitely had a lot of reasons to celebrate as they finally brought home their baby son Pancho Gerardo after over a month of battling it out in the hospital. The 29-year-old new mom took to Instagram to share her immense joy after seeing the delicate condition of their newborn get better.
In an Instagram post, she shared a heartfelt message of thanks to the team of medical professionals who stood by her and her hubby until their baby Pancho was healthy enough to be brought home. She wrote on the caption, "Graduated from the NICU yesterday! We're very happy to leave but sad to say goodbye to Pancho's wonderful, hardworking, and sweet nurses (some of them not in photo huhu). Thank you for believing in him. @jimbacarro and I will forever be grateful for you all!"
Saab's mother, Pia Magalona, was among the first ones to greet her grandson back home. The proud lola shared an image of her cradling her "newest baby."
Right after Easter, the Cheats vocalist happily shared good news about her son being discharged from the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where the baby stayed closely monitored and taken care of after being born on February 8. In a blog entry in March, Saab opened up about the heartbreaking news of the tragic loss of one of the twins she had given birth to that day, a baby girl they named Luna Isabel.
