P-pop boy group SB19 is really *going up*, but during their recent interview with The Korea Times, we found out that there came a time when Josh, Sejun, Stell, Ken, and Justin were ready to disband and essentially ~give up on their dreams~.
In the video interview, Sejun shared: "There came this point when we almost gave up, we almost separated. And then we talked like maybe this is going to be our last shot. We talked to each other. Let's get everything here. Let's pour our everything here."
When asked why they thought about disbanding, Josh said, "What we're trying to do here is a new thing. Anyone here in the Philippines actually [knows] that performing is not a practical way of living." They were also exhausted when it came to training, and they had to deal with a lot of stress. But the boys *pushed through* and decided to write "Go Up," inspired by their story as a band!
SB19 is set to hold their first-ever nationwide tour (which is free, BTW!) in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Pampanga, Baguio, Iloilo, Negros, Bicol, Zamboanga, and Cagayan De Oro starting December 28.
SB19 is the first Pinoy group to enter Billboard's Next Big Sound chart and they're also the most-searched male personalities of 2019, according to Google Philippines.
