Woah, SB19 Just Became The First Pinoy Group To Enter Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart

It looks like the international music scene is beginning to recognize the talents of the first Korean-trained P-pop group SB19.

On November 20, SB19 achieved a feat as they became the first Pinoy group to enter Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. The chart tracks the rising popularity of any new artist.

According to the Billboard website, the chart tracks “the fastest-accelerating artists from the past week across all major social music sites, statistically predicted to achieve future success.” The chart is measured by US-based music analytics firm Next Big Sound.

SB19 posted a Twitter update that said the boys, composed of Justin, Sejun, Ken, Josh, and Stell, landed on the chart’s sixth spot.

On Instagram, SB19 posted an update addressing their fan base called A'TIN. The post came with a caption that read, “A’TINs! No words can describe how thankful we are for this great news. Thank you so much for supporting our dreams and believing in us. Everything seems possible with you. We promise to work harder!”

The five-piece boy group also thanked their fans for sharing their stories through letters. They wrote, “It warms our hearts to know that you find comfort, happiness, and motivation through our music.”
