If you're a celebrity and you don't have a matching tattoo with your bestie, are you even friends? Just kidding, of course you are. But we have to admit, #twinning tatts are becoming an increasingly popular trend among young A-listers. I mean, just look at Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson's latest additions, or Kylie Jenner and Anastasia Karanikolaou's adorable "Stormi" tatts.
While some people aren't as keen on the whole "matching ink" thing, we're kinda here for it. Because, after all, what's cuter than celebrating your relationship with your sister, or brother, from another mister?
Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels are the latest celebs to get in on the cute tatt trend. For those who don't know much about Julia, she's a talented singer/songwriter and is also credited with writing Selena's recent viral tune "Lose You To Love Me" (which is believed to be about Selena's ex, Justin Bieber). Yup, these guys are pretty close, and overnight the pair took to Instagram to debut their new tattoos. But rather than commemorating some kind of "in joke" or phrase they say, the two opted for small, minimalist line tatts.
Selena shared a picture on her Instagram Stories showing the pair admiring their new additions, with the caption "It's tatted.. my arrow points to you forever":
Julia shared a closer snap of the occasion revealing the designs, two tiny arrows located beneath their thumbs:
Pretty neat, huh?
The best thing about these tattoos is that they look just as good on their own as they do together.
