NCT is set to debut new members *soon*.
On June 10, SM Entertainment revealed their plans to hold a global audition called "2022 Welcome to the Neo CiTy" in search of new NCT members.
"It is a large-scale global audition to discover talents who will become NCT member candidates who will be active all over the world. It will be held in 14 cities in eight countries around the world," the agency announced.
Auditions will be held at New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Jakarta, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Beijing starting July 9.

SM Entertainment is looking for "any male born between 2001 and 2008, regardless of nationality" who have skills in vocal, rap, or dance.
The final passer will be given an exclusive contract with the agency as well as the opportunity to become a NCT member.
ICYDK, NCT is short for "Neo Culture Technology" and the group's concept revolves around openness and scalability wherein there is no limit to the number of members. NCT's profile states, "Under the brand NCT, each team based in cities around the world will debut sequentially, and through NCT U, the members plan to continuously show various combinations and transformations."
NCT debuted in 2016 through their first sub-unit NCT U. Currently, the group has 23 members.
