Age is just a number, they say. Yup, it definitely is, especially when we're talking about Song Hye Kyo. The South Korean superstar is 38 years old but she looks at least five years younger than my 30-year-old ass. (No joke) Case in point: Her stunningly ~*gorgeous*~ May 2020 Elle Singapore covers. Looking like a boheme-slash-prairie goddess, Hye Kyo fronts three of them:
Hye Kyo has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years—and we can even credit her early work in K-dramas to the rise of the Hallyu wave in the global scene. Remember Full House and Autumn In My Heart? Yup, classics.
Revealing her secret to a long and successful career, Hye Kyo tells Elle, "Compared to other people my age, I got exposed [to] the work force earlier at a young age, and I was able to gain so many good experiences and memories. I think I have been very fortunate. Being able to be in such amazing productions since I was young, and those productions performing well, along with receiving love from so many people, is why I am where I am today—and I'm very thankful for that."
After a headline-grabbing 2019, Hye Kyo is now the kween of glow-ups and keeps us fans updated with her many double tap-worthy Instas (mostly brands she endorses—but whatevs, girl's got selling power).
While we have no clue what her next acting project is, we're sure to be rooting for her return to the drama scene!
