Be still our CLC hearts!
On September 15, Sorn dropped the music video for her newest digital single "Nirvana Girl", featuring her former bandmate Yeeun who also makes an appearance in the MV.
"Nirvana Girl" is about Sorn's journey of self-discovery, with the lyrics of the song expressing her choice to be her most authentic self.
Yeeun was not the only CLC member to appear in the MV! Seungyeon also made a ~surprise~ appearance towards the end of the video.
Sorn revealed that Seungyeon was actually the one who choreographed the dance for "Nirvana Girl" and expressed her gratitude in an Instagram post: "Thank you @seung_monkey for SERVING us this beautiful choreo for NIRVANA GIRL. THE QUEEN NEVER DISAPPOINTS! What do we say, guys? We say… THANK YOU SEUNGYEON."
In 2011, Sorn bagged an exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment after winning the competition show K-Pop Star Hunt. She officially debuted as a member of the K-pop girl group CLC in 2015 with the mini album First Love. The group is best known for their songs "Hobgoblin", "No", and "Helicopter", to name a few.
Following Sorn's departure from the company and CLC in 2021, she debuted as a solo artist with the digital single "Run." The 25-year-old artist's other music releases include "Sharp Objects", "Scorpio", and "Save Me."
In March 2022, Yeeun and Seungyeon shared that they have decided not to renew their contract with Cube Entertainment. Two months later, the label announced CLC's official disbandment.
