One look at Marlon Stockinger and your heart will surely skip a beat. Not only is the 23 year old extremely good looking, he's sweet and humble too! We were lucky enough to join the Speed Meet with Marlon Stockinger event last July 21, where we got up close and personal with the Filipino-Swiss racer.
Read our Q&A below as Marlon opens up about his personal life and racing career:
When was your first kiss?
"I was 13."
When was your first date?
"I was 9. "
Who is your celebrity crush? Hollywood and local.
"Jessica Alba and Anne Curtis."
What's the sweetest thing you've done for a girl?
"I think the most romantic thing you can do is to be yourself with another person and spend time with them."
When was your last heartbreak?
"Two years ago." -AWW!
Would you kiss a girl on the first date?
"Yeah, if it's the right moment. If everything clicks, then why not?"
How would you dress up for a first date?
"Normally first dates are pretty casual so I'd be in a t-shirt and jeans."
Where would you like to get married and when?
"I would like to get married in a beach with nice sand and a blue ocean. Maybe Boracay. I would like to get married maybe in my late 20s or early 30s. Kids? Three or four.
What's the sexiest part of a woman's body?
What's the sexiest part of your body?
"Um...probably my eyes also."
Are you a party boy or a stay-at-home kind of guy?
"I'm a stay-at-home kind of guy. I also like hanging out with my friends."
Have you ever taken a girl on a race date?
"No, not really actually. Most girls I meet are [into] opposite [things as what] I do. It's not that I like opposites, but I think it's nice because you get to learn something different from them. They'll be supportive [of my racing], but it's not like the end of the world if they don't go to a race track. Since I'm there most of the time and it's more for work, I don't like to bring other people to that because it's very stressful. It can also be unfair to your partner or girlfriend, or even your family sometimes."
What's the best thing about racing?
"Racing cars is the best thing on earth. It gives me a sense of independence and responsibility. When I started racing, I felt free because no one was telling me what to do."
What motivates you?
"I get to do what I love and not everyone gets to do that, so I'm really lucky."
What's the best perk of your career?
"I get to see the world and travel. I've experienced many different cultures at such a young age."
How do you define success?
"Success is when you know that you didn't leave anything on the track and you did your best regardless [of being in] first or last place."
Do you have any weird rituals before races?
"I'd pick a bright-colored underwear. I never get into the car from the right side; it always has to be the left. I also do the sign of the cross before each race."
