The 2009 UAAP Cheerdance Competition held last Sunday, September 13, at the Araneta Coliseum turned out to be one of the most memorable the league has ever had. All competing schools gave spectacular performances, but the Far Eastern University cheering squad proved they are the best this year by earning the championship title with their sarimanok-themed routine. The Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion bagged first runner-up honors with their entertaining Michael Jackson (think moonwalk) and Broadway-inspired dance moves, while last year’s champion, the University of the Philippines Pep Squad, won third place.
With all the pep and cheer going on (not to mention all those hot cheerleaders in skimpy outfits), it wasn’t very hard to find hot guys putting on their best smiles in support of their schools. Campus cuties and gorgeous alumni were spotted all over the Big Dome, sporting their university shirts and jackets or wearing their school colors.
Cosmo caught up with these campus cuties and asked them what they do to cheer themselves up when having a bad day. Check out our gallery and see what makes them smile!108
