We're down to the last two episodes of the Netflix series Start-Up and we're honestly not ready to let go. We've been getting a little emotional whenever we realize that we won't have to wait for 10 p.m. on weekends anymore. Sigh. Start-Up has brought us the motivation we didn't know we needed, left us questioning who we love more between the two male leads, and introduced us to some of the most outstanding characters in K-drama land. It's definitely one of the best K-dramas of 2020.
Before we say goodbye to Start-Up, we want to talk about some actors who juggled their time and energy between two or more series—grabe! If you, like us, love watching several dramas at a time, you might have caught yourself saying "Kilala ko 'tong actor na 'to ah!" while watching Start-Up, then you're right! Check out their ~dualities~ below:
1. Seo Yi Sook
Where you've seen her: Start-Up, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol
In Start-Up, actress Seo Yi Sook plays the role of Yoon Su Hak, the head of SH Venture Capital who has a thing for neck pillows. She's warm and caring and always gives the best advice to her colleagues in Sand Box.

On the other hand, her character in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol is the complete opposite! She's an overprotective (as in, OA!) mom to her son, Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook), and would go through hell and high water just for him! I mean, all moms would, but she's on a different level (Hint: It involves a lot of money). Btw, we almost didn't recognize the actress here—in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Seo Yi Sook doesn't don her signature gray locks like in Start-Up.

2. Eom Hyo Seop
Where you've seen him: Start-Up, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, and Tale Of The Nine Tailed
Won In Jae (Kang Han Na)'s ~evil~ stepdad Won Doo Jung, who is also the President of the Morning Group, only cares about his own good (and his son's, who is equally evil, hmmp) and well, let's just say we don't want him as our dad, too. Lol.
IRL though, Eom Hyo Seop is one *busy* man! He starred in three dramas simultaneously!

In Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol , he plays Ra Ra (Go Ara)'s dad and is more supportive compared to his character in Start-Up. In another universe, Ra Ra, In Jae, and Dal Mi (Bae Suzy) could be stepsisters, amirite?
In Tale Of The Nine Tailed, he plays yet another despicable character as Kwon Hae Ryong, who disguises himself as the CEO of the TV station where the lead character, Nam Ji A (Jo Bo Ah), works. But in reality, he's actually the Seogyeong Traitor, an old soul who's living on borrowed time and will do anything to live forever. Obvs, the gumiho brothers Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) and Lee Rang (Kim Bum) aren't happy about that! Oh, and have you seen the Start-Up and Tale Of The Nine Tailed crossover?
3. Song Seon Mi
Where you've seen her: Start-Up, Private Lives
Okay, TBH we rolled our eyes during the first episode of Start-Up when In Jae and Dal Mi had to separate ways because their ~*fancy*~ mom wasn't supportive of their dad's plans and dreams. But it turns out, everyone can change talaga!

In the Netflix drama Private Lives, she also plays the role of a mother—this time as Joo Eun (Seohyun)'s swindler eomma!
4. Kim Joo Hun
Where you've seen him: Start-Up, It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Dr. Romantic 2
And the rakitero of the year award goes to...Kim Joo Hun! In 2020 alone, he starred in four K-dramas. Can you believe!? He's a *super* busy guy! In Start-Up, he played In Jae and Dal Mi's forward-thinking appa who only wanted the best for his family.
He also portrayed the role of Ko Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji)'s always-upset publisher in It's Okay To Not Be Okay, LOL. Yes, that's him!

He was also in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol as a doctor-slash-former-pianist who has a serious case of burnout. Stressed talaga siya lagi! Earlier this year, he was also in the medical drama Dr. Romantic 2 as yet another doctor!

5. Nam Da Reum
Where you've seen him: Start-Up, Private Lives
Who can forget Nam Da Reum as the younger version of #GoodBoy aka Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho)? If you watch them closely, you will see how similar their acting styles are! In short: uh-ma-zingggggg.

In Private Lives, he appeared as the young Kim Jae Wook/Edward Kim (Kim Young Min). Did you know that he has starred in over 30 projects already? And he's just 18 years old! We're *really* looking forward to what's in store for him in the future!
