Last month, Zayn Malik quit One Direction, and we thought we'd never happy again. Quite frankly, our bout of Zayn Pain had left us inconsolable. Yet, last night Stephen Hawking offered advice on how to get over it, and his words of superior wisdom have left us feeling SO much better.
The legendary physicist appeared on stage as a 3D hologram at the Sydney Opera House from his physical location of Cambridge University. After speaking at length about the many mysteries of the universe, a questioner asked him about the cosmological effect of Zayn's swift exit.
They said: "What do you think is the cosmological effect of Zayn leaving One Direction and consequently breaking the hearts of millions of teenage girls across the world?"
Hawking's response? "Finally, a question about something important."
"My advice to any heartbroken young girl is to pay close attention to the study of theoretical physics. Because one day there may well be proof of multiple universes. It would not be beyond the realms of possibility that somewhere outside of our own universe lies another different universe.
"And in that universe, Zayn is still in One Direction."
Happy tears are flowing.
