'90s kids, a Tabing Ilog remake is officially happening!
The barkada series will be making a comeback as a musical that opens on March 7, 2020, directed by Topper Fabregas and Vincent de Jesus, written and directed by Jade Francis Castro, and choreographed by JM Cabling. Fans of the show will be excited to see characters Rovic, George, James, Fonzy, Epifania, Badong, and Corrine again, this time on stage.
Presented by Star Hunt and ABS-CBN, the musical features new ABS-CBN talents Kiara Takahasi, Abi Kassem, and Gab Pangilinan alternating as Eds (originally played by Kaye Abad); Hanie Jarar, Skye Quizon, and Ian Pangilinan playing Rovic (originally played by John Lloyd Cruz); Batit Espiritu and Emjay Sevilla as Badong (originally played by Paolo Contis); Gian Wang, Gabby Sarmiento, and Jem Macatuno as James (originally played by Patrick Garcia); Argel Saycon, Elyson de Dios, and Vino Malabot as Fonzy (originally played by Baron Geisler); Mia Canton, Belle delos Reyes, and Abby Trinidad as George (originally played by Jodi Sta. Maria); and Lou Yanong, Missy Quino, and Teetin Villanueva as Corrine (originally played by Desiree del Valle).
Also starring in the musical are Agot Isidro, Joann Co, Jojit Lorenzo, and Paolo O'hara.
