Alma Moreno was slammed on the interwebz on Sunday, November 15, after her interview with Karen Davila on ANC's Headstart got posted online. Karen asked the Parañaque councilor why she wanted to run for the senate in the 2016 May elections, and the former actress admitted that she was hesitant, but asked for a "sign" from God—which she got, apparently.
Karen then proceeded to grill Alma about the Reproductive Health Bill, contraception, and LGBT rights, among others. Things went from really bad to really awkward and painful when Karen asks the councilor, "How would you do it? [control the population]?"And Alma jokingly responds, "Kailangan bukas lagi ang ilaw."
The video, which was posted by ABS-CBN News on their YouTube channel, has more than 400,000 views. Pinoys were quick to post about their ~*feelings*~ about the interview online, even using the hashtag #PrayForAlma.
