Lee Min Ho is starring opposite actress Kim Go Eun for his comeback drama The King: Eternal Monarch. Guess what? It's coming to Netflix on April 17! The sci-fi/fantasy K-drama features two parallel universes: One where an emperor named Lee Gon (Min Ho) rules over his people and another where police detective Jung Tae Eul (Go Eun) works to protect people.
The King: Eternal Monarch also stars Woo Do Hwan as the emperor's loyal bodyguard Jo Young, Jung Eun Chae as Prime Minister Goo Seo Ryung, and Kim Kyung Nam as Detective Kang Shin Jae.
Korean channel SBS has released new behind-the-scenes stills from the show and we are sooo excited! Enjoy:
Lee Min Ho, we're sure all your scenes are perfect!

Here's Kim Go Eun *glowing* as Tae Eul:

Emperor Lee Gon and Prime Minister Seo Ryung seem perfect together (sorry, but I ship them, okay?).

The emperor's bodyguard is so dashing!

Meet the show's *villain*:

We honestly can't wait to see these characters come to life.
