From April to June 2020, The King: Eternal Monarch filled our screens with its epic storyline of parallel worlds, doppelgangers, and unforgettable romance. Although we've moved on to watching other dramas since it wrapped up, we're still curious as ever about the cast's whereabouts. Just recently, they actually gave us an update on what they were up to: They had the cutest mini-reunion over food and drinks!

The six actors are doing their own things in their separate careers, so here's an update on what's next for them!

Lee Min Ho as Emperor Lee Gon

Earlier this month, our ~pyeha~ Lee Min Ho graced our screens again by launching his very own YouTube channelleeminho film, where he's credited as both executive producer and creative director for his videos. Min Ho is also starring in Pachinko, an Apple TV+ drama based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Min Jin Lee. Min Ho is playing the role of Hansu, "a rich and powerful merchant with ties to organized crime." Pachinko already started filming in Korea and will reportedly shoot more scenes in Canada.

Kim Go Eun as Detective Jung Tae Eul and Luna

Kim Go Eun's only public project since The King: Eternal Monarch wrapped up is the short film titled Untact. In October, Go Eun shared the movie's poster which revealed her co-star, Kim Joo Hun of It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, and Start-Up! Untact is reportedly directed by Kim Ji Woon and "revolves around the COVID-19 era where two people are unable to meet due to the pandemic."

Woo Do Hwan as Jo Young and Jo Eun Seob

Arguably the breakout star of The King: Eternal Monarch, Woo Do Hwan was offered a lead role in a new drama titled Hero even before The King wrapped up. But he surprised everyone when he decided to enlist in the military in July. Right before doing so, he had a going away party with his on-and-off-screen ~bro~ Lee Min Ho. His last Instagram post was of the mini-reunion he recently had with the rest of the cast.

Jung Eun Chae as Prime Minister Gu Seo Ryeong

It looks like Jung Eun Chae is back to her modeling roots because her most recent work-related Instagram updates were of a fashion editorial she did with Vogue Korea. Eun Chae's editorial was in collaboration with luxury jewelry company, Boucheron, and they even shot a short film for it!

Kim Kyung Nam as Detective Kang Shin Jae

Right after The King: Eternal Monarch, Kim Kyung Nam landed a theater role and starred in the play Taxi, which ran from September to October. As for his small-screen projects, Kyung Nam is said to be in talks to star as the male lead in the new historical drama, Red Cuff Of Sleeve. The drama is said to be "about Crown Prince Munhyo's birth mother, who started as a court lady and rose to the position of the highest-ranking queen. It will show the dramatic life reversal of an ordinary woman who becomes the mother of the crown prince." Kyung Nam's leading lady is reportedly Park Hye Soo.

Kim Yong Ji as Myung Na Ri and Myung Seung A

Although she played a supporting role in The King: Eternal Monarch, Kim Yong Ji landed a second lead role in the ongoing fantasy drama, Tale Of The Nine-Tailed. She plays Yoo Ri, an assistant gumiho to Kim Bum's Yi Rang. The pair are so effective in their chemistry that they were already given a spin-off, titled The Unspeakable Story Of The Nine-Tailed.
