WARNING: *Major* spoilers ahead for Episodes 15 of The King: Eternal Monarch! Don't read if you haven't seen the latest episode yet!

The King: Eternal Monarch aired its penultimate episode on Saturday night, and suffice it to say my feelings are still all over the place. I won't get into a deep dive of Episode 15 'cause everything's just TOO. DAMN. HEAVY. But what I would like to focus on is the *beyond epic* post-credits scene. So, we know that Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) goes back to the ~night of treason~ for the second time, and this time, he's brought his Unbreakable Sword Jo Young (Woo Do Hwan) with him. But apart from all its badassery, it actually reminded me of a scene in another fantasy series written by Kim Eun Sook. No brainer here: It's 2016's biggest drama Goblin. Much like The King, Goblin also had a major bromance between its two male leads, Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook). In Episode 2, Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) gets kidnapped by loan sharks, but surprise, surprise, the duo make their big entrance in the middle of a deserted road to save her. Yep, my heart stopped there for a sec, lol.

So, whether you love Goblin or The King, one thing's for sure: Kim Eun Sook knows how to write the coolest scenes EVER.

The King: Eternal Monarch and Goblin are both available for streaming on Netflix.
