Spanish dystopian thriller The Platform was gory, disturbing, relevant, and eye-opening. And this only means that we want to see more content like it! Here's a list of movies you'll most likely be interested in if you love The Platform

1. Snowpiercer (2013) 

"The Earth's remaining inhabitants are confined to a single train circling the globe." As the wealthy people in front of the train enjoy their luxuries, the poor members of the population are designated to stay in dirty and cramped train cars. Chris Evans stars as Curtis Everett, a member of the lower-class who joins a revolution against the elite.

Snowpierecer is also going to be released as a TV series

2. Us (2019) 

When she was a little girl, Adelaide (Lupita Nyong'o) encountered her doppelganger at a funhouse. Now that she's all grown up with a family of her own, Adelaide is still haunted by the memory. During a vacation, four scary figures who look exactly like Adelaide, her husband, and their two children, suddenly show up on their doorstep to attack them!

3. Parasite (2019) 

This multi-awarded movie, which tackles class issues, tells the story of two families—the wealthy Park family and the impoverished Kim family. When the Kims' son lands a gig as an English tutor for the Parks' daughter, the family seizes the opportunity to *take advantage* of their ~benefactors~.

4. Ready Or Not (2019) 

When an ordinary woman (Samara Weaving) marries into a wealthy and eccentric family, she has absolutely no idea what she's getting herself into! As it turns out, her new husband's family has a tradition where they literally *hunt down* people like her to avoid a curse and retain their riches. 

5. High-Rise (2015) 

Just like The Platform, this dystopian movie takes place in a multi-level building where the rich enjoy the best things in life. According to the trailer, Dr. Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) moves into a skyscraper where the residents are isolated from the outside world.

6. Raw (2016) 

Remember how Goreng eventually resorts to cannibalism in The Platform? This French-Belgian movie tells the story of a girl who belongs to a family of veterinarians and vegetarians. Her world turns upside down when she discovers that she likes the taste of...raw meat. 

7. Circle (2015) 

"It's a vote. They're killing whoever gets the most votes." In this psychological horror film, 50 strangers are stuck in one room and it's up to them to decide who dies and who doesn't. The group includes a child and people from different ethnicities and professions.
