The incredible video below captured the moment baby Silas Johnson was cut out of the amniotic sac he was born in. Less than 1 in 80,000 births birth are "en caul," meaning the mother's water does not break before giving birth and the baby is encompassed by the bag of fluid.
You can see Silas wiggle around inside the sac and even yawn before the doctor delicately cuts a hole in the casing. Almost immediately, he springs free and it is truly unbelievable to see.
According to Yahoo! News, Silas was born 26 weeks prematurely at a California hospital. He is now 10 weeks old and reportedly doing well.
Damn. Life, yo.
