It's been only five years since Seok Woo (Gong Yoo) (and the undead) made our hearts race in the thrilling zombie apocalypse movie Train To Busan, and it's now getting a U.S. remake. Wow!

Film production studio New Line Cinema has acquired the rights to produce the movie and is currently in talks with Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto to take on the project. Tjahjanto recently took on the Netflix action-thriller The Night Comes For Us. He's also directed a string of horror and action films.

Leading the project are James Wan and Gary Dauberman, the same guys who teamed up for The Conjuring universe films like Annabelle and The Nun.

ICYDK, Train To Busan features the story of an absentee father and other South Korean citizens who have to fight their way amid a zombie outbreak while riding a high-speed train to Busan. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and smashed international box office records.
